Historia
For those who witnessed the global collapse of socialism, its resurrection in the 21st century comes as a surprise, even a shock. How can socialism work now when it has never worked before? In this pathbreaking audiobook, best-selling author Dinesh D’Souza argues that the socialism advanced today by the likes of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Bernie Sanders, Ilhan Omar, and Elizabeth Warren is very different from the socialism of Lenin, Mao, and Castro.

Brilliant
Revisado: 01-09-24
Dinesh points out that he was personally intimidation with the deep state. He was our commencement speaker at Concordia University and I had no idea who this gentleman was! After listening to his audio book, he's the one who is right! His unapologetic in his conservative views is something to be admired, no holds bar in fighting the socialism. It's coming to fruition in the pro Hamas activism of "our" is taking the "higher education" institutions, when they, under Sharia Laws would silence them through intimidating, public hangings, mutilated their bodies, killing, and the LGBT has embraced their actions, when they would be thrown of the buildings and so forth. How ironic!

Written and narrated fantastically. I will use a credit to buy another William Shirer's book. Grover Gardner is one of my favorite narrator. History is the future, not of the past!

Historia
The politics of the 1950s revolved around two primary leaders, one Republican and one Democrat both moderate, and both willing to compromise to move the nation forward. The Republican leader was President Dwight Eisenhower. His two administrations changed American politics. Ike’s desire to be president of all the people, to run his administration down the middle of the road, to be a modern” Republican, set the stage for what the Republican Party would be for decades to come.

Very Informative
Revisado: 09-26-20
Very detailed in content, which is a good thing. It also took you behind the scenes in terms of the relationship between Eisenhower and Johnson in developing the "middle way." How we long for those days! Bipartisan support for one another. It also details the rise of the conservative and liberal movement at the end of the 1950's.

Historia
In her memoir, Mrs. Bush for the first time gives listeners a very private look at a life lived in the public eye for more than 25 years. She begins with a compelling portrait of her early years, including: growing up in Rye, New York, and meeting George Bush; life as a young bride and mother, moving far away from home to West Texas; and the almost unbearable pain of losing a child.

Great advice for any generation

Barbara Bush could only narrate this story and she was a decent human being through and through. I like the common words of "love","wonderful", and she exentuates "very"
