Good Christian Book by Frank Peretti

I enjoy Frank's books a lot. They have a good storyline and they are easy to follow along with while listening to the audio version. There are some complicated plot twists at certain points that may be hard to follow if you are not listening well, but I was able to follow along while driving to work everyday.

Good Christian Novel

It was a good novel. What you would expect from a Christian novel. I wish it was a little more fast paced. It seemed that the plot dragged in places. Overall, I really enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed this book

I'm a guy who just recently became more involved in the church. I wanted to read some Christian literature, and almost passed this book up because it seemed geared towards women. I was a great book about forgiveness. I also really enjoyed Francine Rivers other book Atonement Child.

Not really good

I don't like just slamming books. I just didn't get a lot out of this one. I really just wanted to memorize a few bible verses and get some direction while doing it. This book spent a long time explaining the same memory system I've heard explained before. If you really want a different approach to scripture memory, try His Word in My Heart, by Janet Pope. This was a great find for me.

A fun Christian Listen

I really enjoyed this book. It was a fun listen. This was the first of several Christian fiction books that I listened to while driving to work. I discovered this book, like most book in that genera are geared towards women. This is one of them. It is more action packed than most (gun fights, stand-offs, etc.), but it's still chick lit.

I like Lee Stroble, but this wasn't my favorite

I really enjoy reading Lee's other books. This book was very easy to listen to and it gave several inspiring stories. Lee's other books left feeling like I had learned something. After listening to this book a while, it became tedious and I had a hard time making it to the end.

I love all of Julia Sweeney's downloads

I have really enjoyed all of Julia Sweeney's downloads. This is more of a spoken word piece than an audiobook. She tells the story of deciding to adopt a child.

Not as hard core as Dawkins, a nice fun listen for anyone who would enjoy a heartfelt, emotional speech from a woman who decideds to let go of her faith in God.

Jannet write from the point of view of an author of adult fiction for women. It's a great introduction to writing and a nice easy listen. I didn't feel like I learned anything new, but it was nice to have her confirm what I already new.

Not funny

I realize that this book was supposed to be a joke, but I was not amused. I realize that getting a child to go to bed can be frustrating at times. I'm sure that most parents have had similar thoughts to the ones expressed in this book. But, the idea is unoriginal, the language is crude, and the only thing that passes as humor in the book is how offensive it is.
