Stories brought us together. Books spread our ideas – and our mythologies. The internet promised infinite knowledge. The algorithm learned our secrets – and then turned us against each other. What will AI do? NEXUS is the thrilling account of how we arrived at this moment, and the urgent choices we must now make to survive – and to thrive.

Very documented author
Revisado: 10-18-24
It’s a great lecture about the AI threats and opportunities that starts from the ancient times and goes beyond the present era. At the end of the book you will find that the author knows exactly what he says. Read or listen this book so you can find that detail that made me give Harari a 5 star review.

I really enjoyed this book. Mr Harari knows how to tell a story starting from scratch. You don’t need any knowledge at the start of the book but by the end you will understand a lot of the mechanism that are defining our world.

Have you ever wondered how we got here? From hunting mammoths, to flying to the moon? It is because we are unstoppable. But what made us so? Well, we have the most amazing superpower: the ability to tell stories. Fairy tales have led us from imagining ghosts and spirits to being able to create money (yes, really!). And this has made us very powerful...but very deadly. Nothing stands in our way, and we always want more. So get ready for the most amazing story there ever was—the incredible true tale of the Unstoppables.

Although everyone says this is a children’s book, I think is very informative for anyone. Highly recommend!
