Historia
Shrubley, the Hero Adventurer, has vanquished the serpentii threat. Everything he ever wanted is within his twiggy grasp: fame, fortune, adoration, and the love of the people who had once shunned him for being a monster. But Shrubley is an adventurer at heart. Along with his monstrous friends, Cal, Slyrox, and Smudge, Shrubley embarks on a long journey to the fabled monster city of Pandaemonium. Guided by Countess Haalften, Shrubley seeks to master his Sage Knight essence healing powers even as vampyrs, monsters, and bandits ambush the party along the way.

I am excited for the future prospect of this book but leaving off without the current situation figured out? (not quite cliffhanger status but close)

Another perfect line from Will Wight!
Revisado: 02-20-25
1st is was "Did you forget who I am? Did you forget my name? Akura Malice to Seshethkunaaz in Wintersteel and now "I am Wei Shi Lindon Arelius and I will see you soon" Threshold chapter. I mean damn 2 of the most intimidating lines I've ever heard in a book!
all this made me want more Cradle... I even re-listened to the series before the release but it still felt like old friends reconnecting and I loved every piece of it. If you love the series this is a perfect book for you even if you want hundreds more like I do...

Revisado: 12-16-24
Half of it was a slog I won't lie (like most of the series) but the middle and on was what I've been hoping the series would be the whole time. this has been the best book without a doubt. it does feel like it's being prolonged though...

Per usual I'm left wanting the next book!
Revisado: 11-21-24
I've become accustomed to the author and how they write the story. So to say I'm not surprised when there were some floors that were WAY more in depth than others it didn't surprise me. it written almost like a montage in depth detail but skipping parts in depth detail. The only thing that surprised me is that they are around 50 floors by the end of the book. I know content is hard to comeby but that seems like a lot of filler. 20 hour book all about 1 big dungeon and they only got through 50 floors... just seems odd. But really enjoyed it regardless another thing I've learned is when the author puts an unexpected foe (weather they be full on bad guy or just a temporary one) the most organic experiences seem to be the best ones, the Minotaur mind chief we still think about it because it was a great fight and it was organic the fight that produced eternal hunger it was the same but the forced ones seem to really personally both me El Hakan or Hakon (whichever one it is) it seems so forced and not apart of the writing that the author does to where the bad guy is forced up in random places of conversation and that just doesn't feel correct for such a good series. I personally feel like the series is at it's best with new and exciting enemies found by doing fresh new exploration of areas Jake has never been too plus adding in the stuff with his profession it just makes it so different.

Historia
Silas is growing into the responsibilities weighing him down. Earth is struggling, but there is hope. The deals that Silas has made have brought resources and trainers to Earth. He's helped some leaders gain an understanding of what they will face. His team has continued to grow but now he finds himself facing the greatest challenge to any Forerunner, the Wild Hunt. He'll be hunted but also have to hunt other Forerunners while forging a shaky alliance with those he can't trust. Even more disturbing, it seems like there might be more than one system to choose from.

Really enjoyed this one!
Revisado: 11-08-24
This has rapidly become one of my favorite concurrent series! I'll get the one annoying thing out of the way and it's the stat sheet. I know it was stated in the previous book or 2 it's fine to skip them but in this book in particular the author would explain these amazing stat boosts and how many stat point Silas is at and follow it up directly aafter 20 minutes of stats with a chapter of the stats themselves (obviously the 20 minutes is an over exaggeration but it's getting close) also when did inventory (class shards etc.) become apart of stats?
With that out of the way the hunt went a lot different than I expected in such a good way! Many twists and turns what I really enjoyed with the hunt as well was the interludes. They didn't feel out of place or like they were dragging on too long, just enough of a break and keeping you up to date with the other worlds! Fantastic book I cannot wait for the next one!

This book was good!
Revisado: 10-29-24
This was another good installment in the series BUT... it was a little predictable? There was no special twist for me in the last few hours I knew exactly what was going to happen and so it was a bit of a let down. Now whatever happened at the very end I'm very invested in. I have theories but no idea 🤣 so there was some really good and some really mediocre for me personally in this book. Still very very worth it!

WOW!
Revisado: 09-25-24
What a book from start to finish this has been the best thus far, consistent action and adventure big come up in the personal lives of Alex and family. THE MASSIVE hurt onto the scene for Thundar this book was amazing! The revenge towards the end is so worth it, plus the WILD twist at the end. I was not expecting that. This book was worth every second and I am dying for the next one!

WHAT A SURPRISE!!
Revisado: 08-26-24
I got this book after reading the description knowing it was going to be a cute little adventure and a nice cozy ride and wow what a ride it was the amazing puns and dad jokes the crazy culture references and the 4th wall knowing what they were doing through was honestly amazing and I loved it all! But damn chapter 39 ripped my heart to shreds, I don't think there's a person out there that cannot at the very least get in their feel listening/reading that chapter. I had to stop everything I was doing to just listen and hold myself together. I cannot wait for the 2nd one to be released on Audible because this is going to be a go to series! It had the same feeling as Legends and Lattes for me when listening and who better to voice it than the man himself Travis Baldree!
