Historia
Conducting hundreds of interviews during the course of over one year reporting on the ground, Washington Post writer Wesley Lowery traveled from Ferguson, Missouri, to Cleveland, Ohio; Charleston, South Carolina; and Baltimore, Maryland; and then back to Ferguson to uncover life inside the most heavily policed, if otherwise neglected, corners of America today.

The story under the headlines by one who writes those headlines. Worth everyone's time especially to be more conscious and active

Historia
The Collaborator, a historical novel by S.L. Stebel, takes place in the aftermath of World War II. A high ranking Israeli official, Ernst Gottliebsohn, is accused of having conspired with the Nazis on the eve of his nation's first trade mission to Germany. Charged with defending himself, Gottliebsohn finds that he has no memory of anything that happened in his past; his life before emigrating to Israel is as much a mystery to him as it would be to a stranger.

GREAT FLOW AND DRAMA

Would you listen to The Collaborator again? Why?
I loved this story -- my first Audible audiobook.
What did you like best about this story?
The set-up intrigued me -- an important figure accused of great evil who can't remember. Then we follow the machinations of the accused and others who try to get him to remember, piecing together the story in bits. Just when you think the predictable is coming, there's a surprise. The book touches a lot of political bases and educates about the issues of Israeli and European politics in the 1960s. The writing is dramatic and swept me along.
Which scene was your favorite?
My favorite scene? The ending. Can't give it away but it made me wonder how else it could have ended.
