Historia
Inmate 5313 reached the end of his sentence after 10 grueling years. That is, until the wrong question led to a beating with an exclusive stay in the fridge. Before the badges manage to lock him into cryostorage for a nightmare-fueled nap, several explosions send the prison barge plummeting into a frozen planet in unclaimed space. This is the first day of Seb’s freedom, an ill-starred future that includes banding together with cutthroat mercenaries, bartering with sordid information brokers, and fighting against the galaxy's ruthless corporations.

Stop whispering and level out the audio
Revisado: 03-10-22
It always sucks when the narrator decides to whisper in the mic to try and "add to the performance" especially with two narrators. So the main narrator will be talking at normal volume and then the character narrator will speak in a whisper making me turn up the volume. Then the main narrator will come back basically shouting and hurting my ears so I have to turn it back down. It ruins the book and just pisses me off.
Stop. Whispering. Please.
Just change the voice slightly to indicate a whisper or if you have to, just level the volume of the narrators to match. I was looking forward to this as I really like the author and female narrator but the experience is ruined.
I'd advise everyone skip this one till the audio is fixed. Especially if you listen in loud environments or while driving.

Sacred Valley has been saved...at least, what’s left of it. With his home finally secure, Lindon delves deep into the ancient labyrinth, seeking long-lost Soulsmithing knowledge and the secret to destroying the Dreadgods. Monarchs plot against him and against each other, unaware of the threats gathering in realms beyond. Far above Lindon and the Monarchs and the Dreadgods, another war is waged. Suriel and the Abidan clash against the Mad King and his forces in a battle for the fate of many worlds. And if it is lost, Cradle will be destroyed.

Great series! Surprisingly funny bloopers!
Revisado: 02-28-22
First and foremost, great series overall and this addition is a perfect next chapter to the story.
I really just wanted to give a review on the "bloopers". I don't like narrator bloopers. The character bloopers at the of this book were a very fun treat though! I needed a laugh, thanks 👍

Historia
It’s been three months since Stark stopped a death cult and a potential ghost apocalypse, and he’s at loose ends. His personal life is a mess. His professional life isn’t much better. LA is gripped by a viral epidemic. But what’s even more frightening is the Shoggot gang and their leader, King Bullet, who revels in the city’s collapse. Who is King Bullet? No one knows. He seemingly came from nowhere with nothing but a taste for mayhem and an army of crazed killers who follow his every command.

Wonderful series from beginning to end
Revisado: 08-26-21
Perfect narrator for the job. The narrator performs a surprising depth of emotion for such a gritty character, especially in the finale.
I loved this series. Great main character and great side characters with a story that never gets stale. I feel very lucky to have found this series and enjoyed every minute of listening. this is the series that I compare all my other reads to and I'm constantly trying to find stories like this. Thanks for the entertainment to all involved!!

A shame...
Revisado: 06-16-21
It feels like Brandon Sanderson has gotten lazy with his later writings. The overall idea in the beginning was great with wonderful possibilities but now it just feels like he's writing bad day time TV dramas. His characters can be godlike and damn near clairvoyant at times and then be completely idiotic and gullible the next. Obvious "twists" are noticable waaaay in advance and left me yelling at characters for being so stupid and even going against their character traits. One minute the MC might try to kill a main villain which is easily foiled and then later when they have a multitude of opportunities the MC will let himself be led by the nose in to a really obvious trap just to further the storyline. Problem with writing this way is it makes the reader no longer care how it all ends because the journey getting there was so painful.
Hard pass. Brandon Sanderson has wonderful ideas for magic systems but (this took me way too long to realize) is a terrible story teller.

A huge let down compared to the previous 5 books
Revisado: 02-11-21
This book felt like it was written by a completely different author than the previous books in this series. It felt like a 7 year old with ADHD who had watched too many crappy TV shows authored this book. This story has a ton of random shallow ideas and locations that are not given any time to be fleshed out in any meaningful way which left me not caring about what happened to the characters I've grown to love in this series. Quite a few times there were extremely simple solutions to the overall conflict (driving force of the story) which the author had to spend way too much time explaining why we couldn't have taken the simple solution so that a plot still exists. A main character refuses to send a vital plot solving message to another main character because he's convinced that character won't look at it because people don't look at stuff while they're on vacation?...really?
Narration was on par with the rest of the books but hard to enjoy with a crappy story to narrate.
The previous 5 titles in this series are totally worth your time but steer away from this one. You won't miss anything because nothing but random useless events happen for absolutely no reason.

Boring...stream of consciousness vomit
Revisado: 10-17-20
I'd skip this production if you value your time. No plot, just random ramblings of a boring author.
