the detail
Revisado: 09-23-24
this was a well- thought-out and ecellent story. Many stories and good but have crap endings. The ending of this story, however, was fantastic.

The two of them couldn't be more different, and it's hard for Meg to hide her resentment of Molly's beauty and easy popularity. But now that the family has moved to a small house in the country, Meg has a lot to accept. Just as the sisters begin to adjust to their new home, Meg feels that Molly is starting up again by being a real nuisance. But Molly's constant grouchiness, changing appearance, and other complaints are not just part of a new mood.

The narration was excellent. The characters seemed alive. Sad but not depressing. Uplifting and positive ending.

decent but not great
Revisado: 11-09-21
a decent story not really all that involved and not a long enough in my opinion to really tell a decent story. There's a lot of bad language and a lot of words and references to Modern things that you wouldn't think people would be interested in if they are over 30 years old or at least I hope so but they will know about them..

Too short to be a good story
Revisado: 07-31-21
Story it flat and uninteresting. I would blame it on its short length but nothing was really explained or explained very well. It seemed more like the first couple chapters to a full-length novel. McFadden's narration was great.

goid but too much going on
Revisado: 08-24-20
There are two stories going on here and they both conclude at the end but it makes for a lot of characters and it's difficult to keep track of who's talking and what's going on but it is a very good story. Not as good as The Siberian Incident (which was fantastic), but still a very good story. Also, I Love Mr. Mangan's narration.

Historia
100,000 years ago the object hit the lake at the deepest point, quickly sinking into its mile-deep Stygian darkness. The sheets of ice closed, time moved on and the land forgot. But over the centuries, legends grew of people vanishing, of strange, deformed animals and of an unexplained luminescence down in the lake depths. When Marcus Stenson won the lucrative contract to create a sturgeon fish farm on the site of disused paper mill on the shore of Lake Baikal, he thought he had won the lottery and refused to listen to the chilling folktales....
