Amazing novel!

I tried to read this multiple times in paperback but my comprehension wasn't great. But the audiobook saved me and made me fall in love with richardo and August! Loved richardo's accent the best! Great story with a break neck speed plot line and by far one of the best sex scenes I've heard.

Good story but a little confused

It took me a long time to work up the nerve to listen to this. Mostly due to the fact it's single pov which I'm finding I don't like. I read prince of killers and had the same problem. The story is good but by the end I was so confused on what was going on that it took me several minutes after listening to construct what occurred. Rude cliff hanger ending though and I'm thrilled to finally be onto a new empire soon!

Even more amazing than the first time

I will say that out of the three main stories from the #gaymers series, this one was my least favorite due to Ryan's absolute block headedness. But after some time away I have to say Ryan hits a little hard for me and that's probably why I didn't like him. The issues he has about wanting to be needed are things I understand. And josiah's adhd being a big part of his life was still so relatable that it still shakes me now. I love this book. Thank you Annabeth for writing this.

I haven't listened to this book in almost 2 years but even now it is still a fantastic story. Adrian and Noah hold a special place in my heart as someone who did long distance for a long time. Such an amazing story... Love it!

A decent enough story

This book was okay. I like ten and ronin as people and as a couple. Though it did feel insta love for me and ronin needs some SERIOUS anger management. He also waffle heavily on weither to believe ten's gift or not. This is very heavy exposition which I wish would have been fleshed out in dialogue. I knew who had done it by about the 1/3 mark and didn't like the twist toward the 50% mark. Now while I was right I didn't enjoy any of the climax because of the disgusting dialogue from the killer. I had to put it on double speed to just get through the climax of the story. Will I read further into the series? Maybe but it's certainly not high on my priority list.

Great start with one minor hitch

This is entirely my own issue but I'm not a big fan of single pov romance novels. I always question what is going on with the other half of the relationship. I know the second book is from royces pov but sawyer was only somewhat compelling. I enjoyed the story but I felt like it would have been better with both povs. The two cases we see are interesting but I would have liked more substance with both of them. I'm gonna read book 2 so I can see royces backstory so yay!

Amazingly fabulous

This was a random audible original that I picked because I heard of tan being one of the queer eye guys. I wasn't expecting to get side splitting stories featuring gay, lesbian and trans people and it was amazing.
