Rachel Grant has done it again. I cannot say enough good things about her writing style. This book is good as a stand alone, but great if you read the others in this series and even more excellent if you read the Flashpoint series as well as the Evidence series. I always love hearing little snippets about characters from the other books. I was so happy when Rand made an appearance in the last book, I took a liking to him in the Flashpoint series. When I heard that Rand and Kira were getting their own story I was ecstatic. It was totally worth the wait. It was also a fun listening experience because my maiden name is Stultz (I haven’t seen this book in print so I don’t know if the spelling is the same) but it’s pronounced the same. I’m always happy with Rachel’s books because not only do you get an amazing story, you also learn something. I love knowledge that she has and shares with us.

One final thing, Nicol & Greg, as always, do such a good job in bringing the characters to life.

Meticulous research in every book

I love the Evidence Series by Rachel Grant. I have both copies of this audiobook. The first was narrated by Meredith Mitchell, which was good but the second one was narrated by Nicole and Greg and it is fantastic. Erica and Lee draw you in from the beginning and you cannot help but hope for them to have their happily ever after. You get attached to other characters and wait for them to get their book.
I have listened to this series numerous times. Rachel is an amazing researcher and the meticulous attention to detail is noticeable in every book she has written. Numerous times I have had to to do an Internet search to check on details. I’m always blown away by how immersive the stories are due to the research, details and accuracy in her writing.
I feel like I could have a conversation with any of her characters. I feel like I know them. I get personally invested in their stories. That is how well developed her characters, the narrative and the meticulous attention to detail is. I feel that that is what makes her such a talented writer.
If you have not listened to one of Rachel Grant’s books, you are missing out. Her books are connected and that is one of the other things that I absolutely love about them.

Returned it

I had a really hard time listening to the narrator. I love Shelly Laurenston’s books but the narrator made this book intollerable. Maybe that’s because I’d been listening to the books narrated by Charolette Kane, I don’t know. I just know that I couldn’t keep it, I returned it and purchased something else. The story was fine, the characters were fun, if I’d purchased a print copy I would have been happy.

I absolutely love listening to Rachel Grant’s books. Her books always have some real information. I always learn something about archaeology. The sexy moments are really good too. Also Nicol and Greg are wonderful narrators, their voices snag my attention every time.

So…freaking…hot!! I loved this book. Book 1 was great, book 2 was good, but this was freaking amazing! The hotness factor was off the charts. I liked the story better than book 2 also.

Not a fan of the narrator

Not sure why but the narrator reminds me of Beavis and Butthead and it’s hard to listen to the whole story. I like the story and I love the series, I just dislike the audiobook because of the narrator.

I would love more of this story. I am a big Mystic Bayou fan and I loved hearing Leonard’s story. I wanted more though, I wanted to know if his family was able to have the curse lifted as well.
I am so glad to hear the update on the other Mystic Bayou residents. Zed is my favorite and knowing that he and Danica are having a baby made me want to cry happy tears.
I liked the story but I need more!

Love series

I love the whole series. I can and have listened to them all numerous times. I love B.J. Harrison as the narrator, he brings the characters to life so well for me.
I highly recommend starting this series!

I can (and have) listened to this book along with the others in the series multiple times. When nothing else peaks my interest this book hits the spot. I love the story of Hugh and Delaney.
