So it turns out overthrowing a 14,000-year-old cultivation empire is going to take longer than I expected, but I've made a great start. I've broken through to the Core Realm of my hidden Berserker art, established a new Terran Sect, and even discovered a tribe of lost Terrans out in the wild. There's a whole lot more at stake and even more people to save, but that's all the more reason to free the Earth from the empire's control. Not everyone is thrilled about my progression, however.

Amazing Series

This is my new favorite series. The world building is fantastic and the magic system is uniquely cool. This is the first time I’ve heard the voice actor and he is perfect for this series. On to the next book.

Maulkin and his Eternal allies may have just caused the apocalypse, but at least they’re doing it with style. The Voidgod is back and the Alvaren Queen is now convinced that Maulkin is the second coming of the Voidgod himself, but at least they have the totally awesome magic sword made out of the weapon that put the big bad down for a long nap last time! No wait, they don’t. The first thing Araphel did after stretching and yawning was to turn it to dust.

Hunter Blain knocks it out of the park again. This is one of those books that makes you feel a bit of everything. I will forever think of bingo night differently. If you like Sci Fi, great characters, and a good laugh this book is for you. A must read.

Quite possibly the best book in the series

I am an avid audible listener. Very rarely does a book grip me like Light Bringer, especially the fifth book in a series. All aspects of this book and narration were superbly done. The way the author pulls you in to feel for the characters is masterful. I can only recall two or three books that have almost brought me to tears and this is firmly on that very short list. I cannot express how excited I am for the next book in the series.

This series continues to impress. There are very few authors that have the universe building mastered as well as Ruocchio. He is able to make you feel everything that the character does. The action is superbly done and the pace is fantastic.

This is currently my favorite fantasy series. I can’t wait for the next book. Kairos and supporting characters are fantastically written and the tie with Greek myths are well done.
