Cajun? Maybe

The storyline shot off in a completely different direction than anticipated. While entertaining, it was really hard to listen to the Cajun accent butchered. Some words were down right comical.

Mystery and intrigue

Waiting for some of my favorite novelist to produce their new books on audible, I looked to see if anyone I not read produced anything of interest.
This book started a little slow for me, but soon had my interest. The story line is good, lots of action lots of mystery and a very profound ending. I would recommend this to anyone That enjoys mystery, medical, and government thrillers.

I've tried but cannot get into this

The accent of the reader and the storyline are really hard to focus on and I just can't get into it. I am on Chapter 20 and it should have captivated me by now. So disappointed.

I always enjoy the FBI thriller books. The intrigue, the knowledge, and the storylines never fail to impress. I wish it weren’t so long before the next thriller arrives.

The plot took way too long to develop. I kept listening, praying it would become clear but by Chapter 10 I began to wonder if it would ever happen. I was unfortunately not impressed by the constant back and forth of the characters as it was confusing what team had what going on.

What made the experience of listening to Turbo Twenty-Three the most enjoyable?

First, I didn't think I would enjoy listening to books but I can't read and drive at the same time! Audible was the answer to many issues in the changing technology world. I've listened to EVERY one of this series by Janet Evanovich. She's funny, bright and so very entertaining!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Stephanie Plum (main character) and Lula! These two keep me in stitches. Stephanie has "thoughts" that will make you laugh out loud.

Which character – as performed by Lorelei King – was your favorite?

Stephanie Plum (main character) and Lula! Lula being an ex ho and all with her expensive shoes, clothing and her baby (her car) are the most colorful!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Make sure you get some doughnuts, fried chicken, ice cream or something naughty to eat before you begin to listen or you WILL get some strange cravings. Her books should come with a warning to eat before listening!
