Unrealistic AF

This book was so unrealistic. The son of a mob boss who all of a sudden is a master at to a girl who thinks she’s the queen bee at school. It’s high school drama meets 50 Shades but the kids are super immature. It doesn’t make sense. And the language didn’t make sense either. She’d write something vulgar but also used the term butt hole like 100 times. And why did he keep calling her little girl if they are so close in age. Don’t bother. I’d like my credit back.

I watched the Netflix movie before reading the book as it was not in available in English. I have to say the movie was way better than the book and that’s not saying much. It feels as if the book is moving so fast; with very little detail of the characters. He sees her in a dream and then he kidnaps her and then she falls for him in the first TWO hours of the book?? Nah. The only saving grace is the narrators. They did a great job although I thought they were supposed to have accents. I wouldn’t recommend. Just watch the movie. :-/

This book is AMAZING. Heartache, redemption, abuse, recovery, addiction, love, hate, and much more... I’m a fan of Penelope Douglas’ work and she did not disappoint. The highs were out of this world and the lows were as deep as the earth’s crust. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I’m glad I took a chance on it. Tatiana’s performance is astonishing too. She really brings the character to life!
