I laughed . I cried . I laughed . I cried . If it has anything to do with Rush just take my money . Decade after decade I have thrown my hard earned money at this band and no matter what it is it’s amazing and I cherish it. Such great stories here told by Geddy himself . He has had a very interesting hard life and we, the fans, should pay our respects to him and Alex for their sacrifices made touring and writing so much for us. Thank you Gary Canada

Who chose this guy to read this ? Lol

The guy reading this sounds like one of the guys in the movie Wayne’s world 2 when Wayne and Garth are backstage at the Aerosmith concert . And then everyone he says “laughs” it’s barely audible and just hilarious cause it seems like he did the voice recording of this book and was told to go back and add those only he didn’t have the mic up as Loud . Other than the guy reading this I think how this book was written is horrible . I’d like to own a physical copy to see if it was actually printed that way . It’s like a teenager just dug up a bunch of interviews and threw them together poorly .

I only gave this 5 full stars because this is about Chris Cornell. However , all of this book is old news to true Chris Cornell fans . I really wanted to learn more about his background outside of the music to see how he could be depressed and take his own life and was hoping some more updated insight on that case . The sad thing is i got more out of chris’ last Howard stern interview than this entire book.

Layne story- not AIC

Coming from an area infested by heroin addicts I have very little sympathy for them . I was very interested in Laynes story but I wanted to know more about the entire band . This book follows Layne 95% of the time . I want to point out that if my band mate was withering away because of a drug I would get physical with him. It seems like his “friends” wanted to be with Layne because of his popularity . The story is fuckin sad. If I was his friend he would have had my foot up his ass a ton of times . As a teenager I not only loved their music but their look was the coolest and Layne was the main reason why. I would have shown him pictures of himself when he was healthy and told him he could have been that again. It’s fuckin sad .
