Historia
For centuries, poets and philosophers extolled the benefits of a walk in the woods: Beethoven drew inspiration from rocks and trees; Wordsworth composed while tromping over the heath; Nikola Tesla conceived the electric motor while visiting a park. Intrigued by our storied renewal in the natural world, Florence Williams sets out to uncover the science behind nature's positive effects on the brain.

Too much narrative, not enough facts

I bought this book for information but the author spends most of the time storytelling. I gave up after two chapters.

I was in awe many times listening to this book. The author is incredibly thorough in looking at all aspects of this wondrous experience of connecting with the divine. I learned a tremendous amount and it literally brought me back to my childlike center many times where I prefer to be. I loved this book.

Excellent info. Poor reader.
Revisado: 10-10-18
I highly recommend this book.Lots of really practical information that can be put to use immediately. Unfortunately, the woman who reads it does not know how to narrate and really detracts from the message with her unnatural reading style. That said, it’s worth the trouble. I will use this info for a long time.
