The narrator is wooden, almost mechanical in his delivery. This makes it hard to stay focused on the content, which is very good. I should have ordered this as a paperback.

I thought this was a book when I used a credit for it. Turns out it's more of a short story or a novella. Performance is stellar as usual for these guys. Story isn't bad but pretty predictable.

Great story and performance. Star Wars Redux.

RC Bray is excellent as always. Characters are memorable. Writing is good without going over the top. The whole storyline, some of the characters, and the locations are just too much like Star Wars. You even get jedi-like magic and a budding Emperor Palpatine/Darth Vader type character toward the end.

The author does a great job with the biographical content about Orwell. The section on the time between Orwell's death and roughly the present is also very good. He made a point of emphasizing Orwell's honesty and attempt to know his own biases. It's too bad the author could not follow the same guidelines when discussing current events.
