Historia
A popular podcast called The Telepathy Tapes claims that telepathy is real — and tons of people are convinced. So we open our minds to the possibility of mind-reading and ask: Could this be real?? And if not — what might be going on here? We dive into the science (yes — there is science!) with Dr. Katharine Beals, Prof. Jim Todd, and Prof. Chris French. Find our transcript here: https://bit.ly/ScienceVsTelepathy In this episode, we cover: (00:00) Extraordinary Claims of Telepathy (08:28) What Could Be Going On Here? Not compelling science
Revisado: 04-24-25
They are trying to disprove the telepathy tapes with “science” that are not providing any scientific evidence for it. Very disappointing interview. It’s important to have skepticism in science as long as you can use well conducted scientific experiments. This did not. It was only opinion.

Historia
Chemist Elizabeth Zott is not your average woman. In fact, Elizabeth Zott would be the first to point out that there is no such thing as an average woman. But it’s the early 1960s and her all-male team at Hastings Research Institute takes a very unscientific view of equality. Except for one: Calvin Evans; the lonely, brilliant, Nobel–prize nominated grudge-holder who falls in love with—of all things—her mind. True chemistry results.

Great story even though it was infuriating
Revisado: 10-28-23
Exquisitely written, very well narrated, although I was shocked that the narrator could not pronounce library or librarian correctly.

Historia
Against the backdrop of worldwide, unexplainable natural disasters, Dr. Virginia Marilyn Edwards (Emmy Award-winner Kerry Washington) seeks out Agent Scott Thomas (Emmy Award-winner Laurence Fishburne) at a secretive government headquarters. Virginia claims these events are signs, and unless Agent Thomas helps her, she believes things will only get worse. Her desperation is dialed up higher with a shocking proclamation as she stands before him pregnant, weak, and weary: “Agent Thomas,” she says, “I believe I am Mary.”

Terrible
Revisado: 08-07-22
I tried my best to listen through this but it is one of the worst audibles I have ever heard in my life. The acting is below inferior and the story is so sappy and unbelievable. It’s the sort of thing that Spurs conspiracy theories. Delusional, overacted, and terrible.

Not well researched

Full of miss information. Surprised the editors and publishers didn’t pick up all of the errors in history and scientific facts.

Historia
The biggest lie in history is about to be shattered. UFOs are real. In late June of 1947, three extraterrestrial craft were downed outside Roswell Air Force Base. Many more followed, revealing dozens of ET species and a Rosetta Stone to a new physics, an energy generation and propulsion system responsible for interstellar space travel. This new system could have easily replaced oil, gas, coal, and nuclear plants - and with them, the entire geopolitical and economic order on our planet. But a cabal of bankers, the military-industrial complex, and Big Oil stopped it.

Might be best read than listened to
Revisado: 02-26-21
This book was not intended to be put on audio. I was continually confused as to the “testimonials” who were these people? They were never identified in the audible version. It was hugely confusing to follow even though interesting story. Stick to the documentary on TV.

Historia
Josie Bianci was killed years ago on a train during a terrorist attack. Gone forever. It’s what her sister, Kit, an ER doctor in Santa Cruz, has always believed. Yet all it takes is a few heart-wrenching seconds to upend Kit’s world. Live coverage of a club fire in Auckland has captured the image of a woman stumbling through the smoke and debris. Her resemblance to Josie is unbelievable. And unmistakable. With it comes a flood of emotions - grief, loss, and anger - that Kit finally has a chance to put to rest: by finding the sister who’s been living a lie.

Romantic story
Revisado: 12-14-20
Overwhelmed with trauma and deceit and list for love and romance, This is a story made for hallmark romance television. Despite that it is nicely written in its detailed descriptions. I liked how it was written in the first person from two peoples perspectives going back-and-forth each chapter. Definitely kept me entertained.
