Historia
Eleanor, the charming manager of a cozy tea shop, enjoys the transportive ritual of making a cup of Masala Chai tea, reminisces about the tea's origins, and delights in the beauty of her quaint English village during the holidays. Bedtime stories are narrated by the world's most celebrated voices and written with no beginning, middle, or end so you don't stay up to hear what happens next. They're interesting enough to give your mind something to focus on, but delivered in a way that encourages sleep.

Really had a good time luxuriating in some tea trivia. Scenery depictions had a soothing quality to them.

Historia
From Andre Agassi, one of the most beloved athletes in history and one of the most gifted men ever to step onto a tennis court, a beautiful, haunting autobiography. Agassi brings a near-photographic memory to every pivotal match and every relationship. Never before has the inner game of tennis and the outer game of fame been so precisely limned. In clear, taut prose, Agassi evokes his loyal brother, his wise coach, his gentle trainer, all the people who help him regain his balance and find love at last with Stefanie Graf.

Just loves this work. If Andre wrote all of this singlehandedly, he's a literary virtuoso as well a tennis legend.

Love the format
Revisado: 02-21-19
Just about the format of this audiobook I really like. Single-person narrative and advice-dispensing interviews plus different people's voices are intermixed. This makes for variety and entertaining listen. It's a bit like a good radio show and an insightful audiobook. You never have to worry about monotony with this one. Well done.

A twisted tale of murder in the world of big-stakes bass fishing tournaments. Dark and funny anglers' mystery
Revisado: 01-31-17
The story begins with the death of a fishing enthusiast husband whose hobby is loathed by his wife. The guy is dead in no time but I love the way he tries justifies his car add-on purchase that his wife scorns. The author's detached tone is indicative of the dry humor that runs through this deadpan humor filled audiobook. Not an angler myself, I also enjoyed satiating my interest in the competitive bass fishing culture. There's plenty of that in here.

According to The Waiter, 80 percent of customers are nice people just looking for something to eat. The remaining 20 percent, however, are socially maladjusted psychopaths.
Waiter Rant offers the server's unique point of view, replete with tales of customer stupidity, arrogant misbehavior, and unseen bits of human grace transpiring in the most unlikely places.

Be a cocky server vicariously and have fun
Revisado: 01-04-17
As many others mentioned, the author seems to have a big ego and his cocky tone can be grating at times. But that character trait and his defiant streak are the very elements that lead to inevitable friction which makes for intriguing reading. If he were a modest, obedient waiter, this book would've been as bland as a weak cup of coffee. He's not and thanks to that, this read / listen is quite a scrumptious concoction. Nothing insipid or stale about it for sure.

As many others mentioned, the author seems to have a big ego and his cocky tone can be grating at times. But that character trait and his quck-temper are the very elements that lead to inevitable friction which makes for intriguing stories.
