One of the best stories I’ve ever listened to
Revisado: 04-16-25
Absolutely amazing. The characters are so well-written and have so much depth. The MC might be one of the best characters that I have ever read and your heart aches for her throughout the entirety of the story. She is strong-willed and heroic and is willing to do whatever it takes to protect her loved ones and save the world. The characters are actually intelligent and thoughtful, not just written to seem intelligent while being left as hollow characters.
The plot is gripping and doesn’t make the reader lose interest or focus. There are twists and turns but they never feel forced or rushed and happen naturally.
Last but most certainly not least, the narration was incredible. Hollie Jackson delivered an emotional, gripping, seriously gut-wrenching, and also hilarious performance. She deserves an award for her portrayals of the amazing characters and helping bring an already amazing story to life.
This is one of my new favorite books and I cannot wait for the next installment.

Historia
After the Culling, peace has returned and life at the orphanage is quiet one more. Eli finds himself investigating the mystery of a student's new Class, which seems related to the System itself, as well as dealing with the nuances of his unique relationship with the women of the school. When word arrives that the newly formed kingdoms are looking to track down the legendary Impaler, Eli realizes that the past will no longer stay buried and it's time to revive a project that he swore he would never touch again: Project Cerberus.

Wholesome and real
Revisado: 01-13-25
This series has been one of the most down to earth and realistic HaremLit stories that I have read.
Elias Hearthsong is one of the most well written protagonists of the genre and there is so much depth in his character. The authors do not shy away from the pain and hurt that he feels as you slowly learn more and more about him and his past. It is nice to have a character that is suffering with legitimate mental health issues and at times experiences the lapses in judgement and mental breaks that come with them.
The harem itself also is well written and while they love the MC and support him, they are also real with him and tell him the truth when he is in the wrong. The comedic relief that the women provide also are not overdone or forced into inappropriate situations. It really helps provide a realistic family dynamic.
Lastly, watching the children grow and mature through the books so far has been fun to see. While they still are children, they teach the MC things that help him grow and develop into a better person, teacher, and father.
I recommend this series for anyone that enjoys fantasy and HaremLit but also wants a fairly wholesome story about family, mental health, and growth.
(Yes, the intimate scenes are well-written too.)
