Fantastic narration! I actually enjoyed this book very much, though it borrowed from some interesting sources. The story reminds me of the happenings at Hearst Castle back in its heyday, as well as the layered family saga in Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. Not to mention an escaped prisoner from Dannemora and some good old spooky camp urban legends.
All in all a great read! It was fun figuring out what certain parts reminded me of.

Almost completely told in the victim’s voices. Although it’s fiction, the baseline of the real story is there. One of the hardest things about true crime media is the victim is always such a small part of the story. That doesn’t happen in Bright Young Women, which is why it’s fiction. Very compelling.

Farfetched Story w/Poor Accents

While I was able to make it through, it eased tough. Parts of the story were entertaining, but overall this book is a vehicle for explicit sex, which there's nothing wrong with. I just wouldn't have purchased it had I known. The poor accents are much like poor acting in an adult film. It really doesn't matter, right? The characters were not very likable but I get the feeling they were supposed to be.
Narration makes the Audible book. It fell short here. Thank goodness Audible has a return policy.

Worth the time. Just wish there was a prologue! I got attached to the characters. The ending was a little sad and I actually cried, which I rarely do. I know a story is really good when I choose to listen over watching TV after work.
