Historia
I've worked for men all my life, been enslaved by them. My new boss is different. He buys me designer handbags to ensure I'm on time. But scowls at me when he hands them over. He's intoxicating. Dangerous. All the things I should stay away from. The thing is... when his hands touch mine, I'm not disgusted, and I should be. Because he owns a scandalous club, and I work there…

Pass on this book
Revisado: 10-03-24
I’m a big fan of TL Smith and have read multiple books. I bought this book after seeing it had a super high rating (4.8) and was very, very disappointed. But I found this book to be very boring, the story to be incredibly predictable, and the writing to be very elementary. I’d pass on this one and by a different TL Smith book

Historia
Loyalty. Duty. Deceit. I never imagined my first trip to Italy would be to bury my father. But there I stood, alone in the ancient cathedral with my father’s casket, a handful of soldiers standing guard. It never occurred to me that anyone would disrupt the sanctity of the moment. But the Caballero brothers have little regard for the church and even less for my family. They marched in, weapons in hand, and turned my world upside down.
