The last remnants of humanity escaped the Death as Earth was destroyed. Among the survivors is James Ursidae, a fearsome warrior whose despair now outweighs his expectations for the future. The Birth of a new Science fiction Empire.

I had tried to listen to this a few years ago with a previous reader, and found it very hard to get into. The new reader the author had for this book was vastly Superior. This story is great and it grabs you as you hear it. more than once I got chills throughout the book.
