I love these books but this one took awhile to get started. Once it did though, I couldn’t put it down. It was an exciting read and good story.

I almost didn’t listen to it because of the narrator reviews…

But I’m so glad I did. She did an excellent job portraying many characters-men and women and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Don’t listen to the bad reviews of the narrator. This was a great book.

This book started off a little slow but then it became so good, I couldn’t put it down. Very clever story and the narrator was excellent. I can’t wait to read more by Nicola Cornick

The story is good but the narration was not

I would have loved to actually have read this instead of listen to the audible version because the narration was terrible when it came to voicing other characters in the book. I enjoyed the book once I overcame being shocked by the narration.

Life behind the scenes

This book was interesting as all lives have an interesting aspect to them. I think Toni spends a lot of time defending her upbringing. Segregation was a huge part of her life growing up and apparently she has some guilt. It's not your fault, Toni. The story is an eye opener since I grew up watching these two fun goofballs on tv and loved every minute of it but they had some dark times. It was enjoyable and I would recommend it.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I am a huge fan of Philippa Gregory and I'm always trying to get my friends to read or listen to her books.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Three Sisters, Three Queens?
The most memorable moment NOT related to the book for me was, when I realized my husband is related to the McDonald/Douglas Clan. Haha! He just recently searched his genealogy so, interesting indeed.I felt every moment of our heroines betrayal, it was like a punch in the gut. The way women were treated like a possession or a pawn has always made me root for these women to persevere.
What about Bianca Amato’s performance did you like?
Biancas performance made me want to hear more of her other books.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes I couldn't put it down.

If you have not had a chance to read or listen to any of Philippa's books, do it today. Now, some facts are REAL FACTS and some are Philippa's rendition of what could have been. Unfortunately, some of these women just weren't documented as well as the males were in old Europe. So we have to speculate. She brings full romance, intrigue and heartbreak to all her books.
