Historia
In Gay Girl, Good God, author Jackie Hill Perry shares her own story, offering practical tools that helped her in the process of finding wholeness. Jackie grew up fatherless and experienced gender confusion. She embraced masculinity and homosexuality with every fiber of her being. She knew that Christians had a lot to say about all of the above. But was she supposed to change herself? How was she supposed to stop loving women, when homosexuality felt more natural to her than heterosexuality ever could?

A Must Listen-to
Revisado: 12-03-18
Jackie is a wonderful storyteller who writes/speaks with candor and authenticity. Jackie gives no pretenses, and even this straight, white girly-girl can relate to her on so many levels. This book is her testimony of God’s redemption. I want all my friends and family to read it. It is so interesting all the way through.

Historia
Here is a soul-stirring story of two college friends who reconnect after 20 years. One is living life apart from God, in comfortable corporate America; the other is living for Christ under intense persecution in China. This challenging book will convince readers to live in the light of eternity.

All-time Favorite!
Revisado: 05-04-18
This Book is so well written! There are twists and turns and interesting surprises in this book. It helps the reader understand the underground church in China yet there is an American main character.I love the metaphors and irony in this novel. I read it 10 years ago and now I am reading it again. It makes me rethink everything in my life, and that is a good thing.

Historia
In her late 30's, Rosaria encountered something that turned her world upside down - the idea that Christianity, a religion she had regarded as problematic, might be right about who God was. That idea seemed to fly in the face of the people and causes that she most loved. What follows is a story of what she describes as a train wreck at the hand of the supernatural. These are her secret thoughts about those events, written as only a reflective English professor could.

My favorite book
Revisado: 04-05-18
I laughed. I cried. I replayed parts over and over. This book is fabulous. I've insisted all my friends read it. I've read this book before, and now I downloaded it on Audible. Rosaria Butterfield is articulate, challenging and witty. This book challenges me to be a better wife, a better mother, a better person. While Dr. Butterfield may not be teaching in college anymore, she's "schooling" me in a good way. The Holy Spirit uses this book to cause me to pray more and be available for mercy ministry. It's a must-read!
