Historia
Ember Walsh is a trusting soul with the quiet beauty of her late mother, who perished in a mysterious car crash when Ember was three. A little tomboyish from being raised by her father, Ember packs a punch when a stranger gets pushy with her in a bar, catching the steely blue eyes of a tall, gorgeous tattooed man — Trace Montgomery. Still damaged from her last disastrous relationship and warned off the bad boy by friends, Ember fights the smoldering heat that Trace sparks in her when he begins shadowing her like a dark angel.

Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder
Revisado: 02-06-17
It is interesting to find what one considers damaged. In this story, I found the one calling someone damaged, was the one who is damaged. A young girl suddenly loses all that she has ever known and loved. Yet, through ber trials and hardships, she becomes a wonderfully, talented, and very likable, compassionate, sensitive, and endearing young lady. I enjoyed this book immensely!!

Easy Reading/Listening
Revisado: 02-06-17
Bella Andre has just been added to my favorite author's list. After reading/listening to this first book in the new series featuring the Sullivan's, I am officially addicted. My library won't be complete until the entire series belongs to me. Each member of the Sullivan's large, interesting, talented, intelligent, successful, and endearing family each have a story that I am excited about hearing. Bella Andre has rekindled my desire to read!!!

Power Hungry Leader
Revisado: 01-29-17
Scary how a greedy leader can prey on those who have lost hope living in the real world. Congregation of believers that were disgusted with too many demands of society were easily taken in by Father Gabriel, who convinces them that he has a direct link to God. They work in his factories preserving canned goods to be sold to keep the ministry afloat, or so they are told. They are taught to believe that they have a ministry to feed the hungry around the world. When becoming members, they are each given Biblical names, and live in gated communities with no contact with the dark, meaning those who live outside world. They have a strict code to live by and feel protected and enlightened by following Father Gabriel's teachings.
They have factories that make and distribute pharmaceuticals that many of the congregations are unaware of. Pilots are carefully recruited as believers to help in distribution of the products, and returning to the community with food supplies.
And then there are those who become members by being kidnapped. To find out how the kidnapped never realize they had a previous life, read/ listen to the book. I plan to read/listen to the series at least one more time.

Great Book
Revisado: 01-28-17
The second in the series, and it's just as good as the first. This book focuses on a different character, and it keeps one in touch with the characters from the first book. When reading/listening to a good book, I become attached to the characters, and I want to know more when the story ends. Excited about the next book in the series!! This book is well worth it's cost.

The Guest Book
Revisado: 01-25-17
Immediately, I fell in love with the grandmother, keeper of a guest book that had been signed by those who had stayed at her Inn. The inn was created when she had to come up with a way to support herself following the passing of her husband. She was a lady to be admired for her courage and resilience during adversity. Over the years Grandma Maggie became one of the leading citizens of the island that had been her home, and onr she seldom left. She sold baked goods to local businesses to help with expenses. Her granddaughter, Lily, had spent most of her early years staying with her grandmother, gardening, baking, and playing together. As an adult, Lily was a beautiful accomplished culinary chef, married at 19, educated and molded by her successful, handsome husband of 10 years, Brad. During those 10 years, she devoted her life to fulfilling his every need. She allowed herself to be cut-off from her mother and grandmother, because Brad convinced her that he was her family, now.. Her relationship with her mother was strained , because she never appreciated Lily's dependence on Brad, and always reminded Lily that she wasn't the daughter that she could talk with any longer.
More than enough of the book's beginning!! Now, you will have to read/listen to The Guest Book to find out the best part of the book. The narration was easy to listen to, as she portrayed the many characters iin the book. 5 stars for her! Enjoy!!! I sure did!!

What Should I do?
Revisado: 01-20-17
The above question rings throughout this delightful story of a bridesmaid of her good friend from work who is planning her wedding. Deep new friendships form, changes in the lives of some of the key characters, and then finally....you will have to read the book to see some major last second choices made! As I became deeply involved with the characters, I will say that I wasn't disappointed in their final choices. Susan Hatlelr did a great job developing the story with believable characters. I plan to look for more of her books. Happy reading/listening!

SCARY
Revisado: 01-16-17
Too gory and scary for my taste in reading/listening, but for those who enjoy horror stories, you will love this one. The first book of The Mountain Man series should be read first. It is The Hospital. The narrator was superb. The book is well written, and once one begins, it keeps ones attention every second until the very ending. A preview of the next Mountain Man story follows the credits. Its as scary as the first. Nightmares of listening/reading will follow!!

Historia
Nine months ago Sara Adams awoke with no memory. The man holding her hand told her she's a member of The Light, a tight-knit religious group led by the terrifying and charismatic Father Gabriel. As a woman in the community of The Light, her duty is to be unquestionably obedient and to submit to the will of her husband. But as Sara's memory starts to return and she remembers her past, she sees that everything she's been told is a lie. The Light is an insidious and dangerous organization.

Romig never disappoints!!
Revisado: 01-16-17
Away From The Dark has everything a reader/listener could ever want in a book. Mystery, Love, nail biting suspense, and changes of events that one never sees coming. It is the second in a series, and I sure hope there's another one on the way. After listening to, Into The Light, I immediately bought ths book. I'm not ready to let go of the characters that were so skillfully created. Aleatha Romig has just been added to my favorite author's list. Some of the characters could easily become the continuance of a third book in the series. Please Ms. Romig continue on!

But his career ended before it had a chance to begin. On his very first play, a violent helmet-to-helmet collision knocked him off the field for good and left him with an improbable side effect - he can never forget anything.

Hooked on David Baldacci
Revisado: 09-15-16
After beginning The Memory Man introducing Amos Decker, I wasn't interested in doing anything but reading or listening to this book. I read and listened until the end. It stirred every emotion. Baldacci sure knows how to capture the reader's attention and keep up the suspense until the very last word. I immediately bought the second book knowing the story would continue. After getting so involved in the story and characters, I am now addicted to the series. This book touches every emotion; horror, sorrow, pity, love, hope, anger, disbelief, fear, outrage, sympathy, and hope. A must read or listen!
