A window into Arjun’s life.

I’m fortunate to know Arjun Sen and as I listened to his book, I found it hard to not hear his voice instead of the narrator (although he also did a great job). :)

Arjun has never met a stranger, can light up any room with his presence, and has a unique ability to connect with people. His book provides a glimpse into his life, and his journey through some of his toughest moments. His story both inspires and causes readers to reflect on life and what they take for granted everyday.

I cried. I laughed. I contemplated…. And as I sit with my thoughts, I come away with three overarching takeaways from “Unquit Forever”…

1. The people you surround yourself with can truly change your life, but you have to accept them, their impact, and their help. In that same vein, you can also change the lives of those around you. Don’t take that gift for granted.

2. Don’t put off tomorrow what you can do today. Tomorrow is not guaranteed.

3. When faced with adversity, (no matter how big, or small) just keep putting one foot in front of the other. Stay in “the game”. When you look back on your life, you will see just how far each of those individual steps carried you.
