Painfully real and terribly exciting

I've heard about this book before, but only finally decided to read it on Hank Green's recommendation. And honestly? I've never been recommended a better book (thank you Hank!). The characters felt painfully real - a truly brilliant study of the human mind, supported by the changes in perspective and narrators. A bit frustrating at parts, but that is absolutely part of it's brilliance, showcasing life and relationships in a very raw way. All of that backed by an exciting story fit for everyone at least remotely interested in video games (or any other form of creative storytelling for all that matter). Already looking forward to re-reading it.

A book I wish everyone would read

A book I wish everyone would read - either to find a safe place in it, or to get a peek inside a 'loveless' mind and hopefully understand a bit better what that's like. All encompassed in a wonderful and easy to read coming of age story of friendship, community and most of all - love.
