Historia
The clock is ticking down to an attack on America’s most vulnerable natural resource: Water. Our nation’s water resources are high on terrorist target lists, but low on America’s consciousness. Water sources are largely unprotected, providing open access to any enemy with chemicals and biotoxins.

Historia
Eight years after the events of Vessel, the guardians of an ancient treasure are living in New York. Secrecy has long served as their protection, but in an increasingly connected, technological world, remaining hidden is not as easy as once it was. Present and ancient past are set to collide, and prove that not all myths are fantasy, and not all legends are lies.

Worst narrator in history
Revisado: 07-24-22
I was looking forward to this book, I really like the first one. I'm a few chapters in and I am so irritated! The narrator is ATROCIOUS! He has earned the 1st place on my top 3 most godawful narrators ever. I'll have to return this book, I can't stand to listen to this guy.

Historia
Dan Delgado is a private investigator. When it comes to finding cheating spouses, corporate thieves, or runaway teenagers, he’s unenthusiastic, and unmatched. As a former San Francisco detective, he misses more meaningful work, but he hasn’t had the heart for it since his wife’s death five years prior. That is, until a phone call from a distraught mother, an illegal immigrant who can’t go to the police, puts him on the hunt for a missing little girl. By the time he reaches the mother’s small home, she’s missing, too. The circumstances are strange....

I've given this book more time than it deserves. So I'm not going to waste more time talking about it. Suffered through ~20% and gave up.

Historia
When CIA "fixer" Micah Dalton's friend and mentor turns up dead, he's put on a collision course with a killer who has a penchant for intricate knife-work and Native American mysticism, a sadist who is killing ex-CIA agents. The victims are hard-nosed field men whose only link to one another seems to be a global surveillance operation called Echelon. The murders appear to be acts of retribution. But for what?

Awful, I hated this book
Revisado: 04-26-10
This is the worst book I have ever come across. The story is not compelling after the initial event, the characters are not likeable and the author is one sick puppy with a predilection for describing gruesome crime scenes in excruciating details involving skinning and evisceration, over and over. In between, we are treated to boring conversations, boring philosophical musing and boring soliloquy. I suffered through three fourths of this abomination and finally gave up. The reader was not great either but at least he pronounced all the Italian words correctly.

Historia
A master at combining heart-stopping suspense and scientific intrigue, New York Times best-selling author James Rollins returns with a thrilling adventure like no other--a shocking story of cruel genetic experiments done in the name of national security and, most disturbing of all, tied to a secret history of the Book of Genesis.

Fire this reader
Revisado: 03-28-10
This was not my favorite Rollins book. In addition to the flaws in the script, Rollins changed from his usual, very good reader to someone so awful I could only listen in small increments, it took me weeks to listen to this book it was almost painful
