Entertaining enough to finish

Would never spend a credit on this title, but it was free so I gave it a shot and finished the whole thing. Overall, there was nothing exciting about the plot or the story. The performance was fine, I like that they use someone that is Canadian or could do a Canadian accent for a book about Canadians. I like my main characters, especially females to be strong. I found myself rolling my eyes a lot at how wimpy the main female was.

This whole book could have been done in under 2hrs. Very little world building. I’m not willing to waste more credits to finish the series.

Almost 29 hours later, I still have no idea what’s really going on. The main character is nothing but full of contradictions, I want answers-No don’t tell me because it doesn’t matter all of a sudden. Oh I love this man, but I also love this one, and this one, and this one. I would never hurt a kid, but I’m gonna kill this one and this one and this one but I’ll save this one but then I won’t because I’m going to kill him anyways. I want to stay in this place, but I’ll never leave earth. I’ll always choose earth, but I could never destroy a whole race, but I might do it.
I only read this book because it was free with my subscription. Definitely don’t recommend if you’re not ready for a long haul and ready to pay credits to continue the story.

Very well read. The story was okay and well thought out. I wasn’t surprised by the ending like some other reviewers.

Fell flat in numerous ways. Little story line; if you took out the sex scenes(which I’m usually all for) you’d cut the book time in half.
Also, I don’t know what happened but the dream out work of eeeeether every time she said it made me cringe. Not sure if it was that prominent in the other books but I can hardly finish this book. This is my first time review a book before I finished it. I can only hope this is the end of the series.

How does this have good reviews? Captured by hated person... falls in love in a few weeks with nothing that hints towards chemistry... then they hate each other over one little thing that could have been rectified with one simple question. I hate him with all my being, oh wait there he is, I love him with all my being I’ll die for him. HEAVY EYE ROLL

Well written but...

This was a very well written book no arguing that but the fact that it is a trilogy boggles me. This could have been a short novel and still had plenty of “mundane” details to build the story. I thought character building was lacking and the fact that I still have all kinds of questions after the end bothers me.

First off I’ll say it was well written but that’s where the praise ends. The back and fourth, hot and cold, he said she said, etc. got old REAL quick. I audibly groaned every time I looked to see there were still hours left. If I didn’t have to finish what I started I would have been done in hour two.
