False advertising warning!

This book is not a 20 hour book as listed but only an 18-hour audio book. The last 2 hours was an advertisement of the battle through the nine realms audiobook. I will have to say that this book was interesting to me and I did enjoy listening through it up until the end where I felt cheated. Bad form guys very bad form. Be honest with your listeners they are paying you to listen to your stuff so do not cheat them.

Slavery

I don't care how you spin it the author created a system of organized slavery for the people in his world. I would hate to see the societal conditions of this world after about 150 years and the tyranny. Just reading through this turns my stomach and I wanted to give Less on the rating but it was written well in many respects so there you go.

I love these stories and for me there is never a dull moment. I find this world very rare and unusual and I keep wanting more.

Why!!!

You know I should have saw the writing on the wall at the first of this book when the author kept confiscating the MCS experience. I kept hoping that the MC would be reimbursed somehow at the end of the story but instead he was nerfed even more and given a Cheesy class glassblowing class that only has the ability to evolve into a more cheesy Illusionist class that's so common and Normal and one even his father had complaints about. if it was such a great class would not his father have kept it? This story left me so angry and unsatisfied at the ending because I was so full of Hope and expectation. why did you give him such a cool scarred one class just to take it away? This was what I was waiting for the whole book him to become some sort of rare Warrior which could maybe evolve into something even more rare in the future. I wanted a future with this character in so much action and fighting like he did when he became the scarred one fighting off against those Undead that was so cool but you ruined it. I completely lost faith in this story. I will never like a story where the character is nerfed repeatedly and I will never read book number two. Again why!?

I really enjoyed the story and characterization. World building could have a little more but otherwise this was a great story.

Great series so far for the most part.

I really love the way the author World builds. The characters are great also and believable and unlike so many other author's MC this one does not make stupid mistakes constantly. I mean seriously who likes to read about someone else's stupid mistake? The only issue I had with this series was in the first book with the LGBTQ references which almost made me give up on the series but other than that it is a great series.

let me come right out and say that I loved the first two books for the most part. This one however seems to drift and remain unfocused. Too much slice of life and not enough discovery like in the first two books.

I made it halfway.

The first of this story was really interesting and somewhat believable but the feather I read the more flat the characters became and the more eye rolls I was having. the dungeon and it's monsters were just completely not interesting and that is where I stopped listening to this story.

A kid tyrant

I could not get past the MC who is so petty and immature. This is definitely not my cup of tea. I did not like the bad language also which was not necessary for the story.
