I liked this second book in the series. I was just very distracted when the male reader did female voices. So far off from the actual female reader that I would stumble through listening. I still like the first book best, but overall this was a solid follow-up.

I liked Wrong a lot, but Everly and Sawyer just killed me. Loved this story! Dialing the sex back a tad was perfect. The combination of humor, sexy, and heart was an absolutely brilliant blend. Kudos!

The narrator was good at doing the voices. I just felt like the sex was literally nonstop. The male was so mean, and the female couldn't control her desires. Plus, the career paranoia and obsession got old. I guess it just felt like too many extremes for a very long time, and then a happy ending that came and went in ten words or less.

This was only my second audio book. After the 1st, I was so disappointed; I really couldn't get what all the fuss was about with this craze. The story was good, but the narration killed it for me. I figured my reading and my imagination were a lot better. I wanted to try one more though, so I went with another author I liked a lot in print. I have read several Megan Hart books, but this audio book has made me a believer in this form. Not only is this the best Megan Hart book out there for me so far, the narration actually ADDED to the experience. I have not been able to put this down, taking my iPod everywhere with me, even when I really shouldn't. I kept sensing the story was going one way, and then it would surprise me again. What an old-fashioned loved story with some unexpected nuggets. LOVED IT!

HUGE Diana Palmer fan, but it just doesn't work for me having a woman with a southern drawl doing a strong cowboy character. The stories would get a 4-star rating, but the narration knocks a star off. I'll bet Heartless and Dangerous are a lot better with males reading them.
