I have been an ICU nurse for 30+ years. I can handle dark, but this book took it too far for me. Also getting tired of the Robin/Cormoran story line. Meh, returned it.

I love Fredrik Backman and his insight into the idiocy that is being human. This book increases my delight as he takes characters, shows us their flaws, and then shows us how to not only accept them, but fall Irrevocably in love with them. With this book he also delighted me with his phrasing, mastering the wonder of the English language in a way that made me smile, stop, wonder, and joy that I do not ofen experience. This book is a true masterpiece!

Even though I am a voracious reader, autobiographies are not a category I usually enjoy. I deliberated a long time before I bought this as I am so weary of politics. This book is not just about politics. It is about family and a life lived with hope, wisdom, and insightful self reflection. It has renewed my hope.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

No, the narrator's character voices were painfully bad, the volume fluctuations along with the abysmal reading had our entire family saying "please stop" within the first 20 minutes.Or family has enjoyed listening to many of Gordan Korman's books the narrator wrecked this one for us.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Sixth Grade Nickname Game?

Completely.

Do you think The Sixth Grade Nickname Game needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Any additional comments?

No
