Sona is a self-affirmed great speaker and her narrative nails it. Regardless of industry, she hits upon aspects of the job that we all eventually experience. The forward by Conan is funny yet sweet. The stories she tells are laugh out loud funny and I couldn't stop listening. Really a great book for an assistant, the quiet superheroes behind the scenes!

Great Information for anyone!

This book outlines the way an Emergency Dept. staff decides to take care of patients, depending on their extent of injury or illness, also known as triage. There are more than a dozen different patients you get to know, ranging from headaches to cancer, to severed limbs and strange rashes.

I found it very interesting - Professor Benaroch is entertaining and engaging! He reminds me of Alton Brown (cooking show-Good Eats).

This book gave me confidence to triage a recent car accident I was behind and assisted - I was able to think quickly to assess the situation, the extent of injury, notify 911 accurately using language they use and calm the victims down until help arrived. I was really impressed with the knowledge I gained as a regular person with no previous medical training.

Reinforces Kindness to Earth, Animals and Self!

What made the experience of listening to The World Peace Diet the most enjoyable?

This book is sometimes difficult to listen to because it is graphic in the slaughter of animals, however, the main point is that brutality in any form can cause a multitude and cycle of issues to any person who continues to not see how they're affected by how they treat the earth, animals and themselves.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Mr. Tuttle shows us how to care for ourselves and why violence caused by the food industry can cause people to shut down emotionally and morally, thereby spreading more violence to others.

What three words best describe Will Tuttle’s performance?

I wish he was less monotone because the material really needs to be shouted to the world. He is very kind and gentle hearted in his speaking.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were many moments; and if you're looking to be moved away from eating animals and animal products, prepare yourself in advance because you may have a hard time finding something to eat if you're not already eating a vegetarian/vegan diet. A good place to start is VeganCoach or ChooseVeg.

Any additional comments?

The answer to the question is: take care of the Earth as if it were your own. Open your eyes to the horror animals face to feed us. Stop paying huge companies who hide this information billions of dollars for food which, in turn, makes us sick and then pay costly medical bills to fix it. They have us... or so they think.
