Gilmore girl goes through a horror story

Ever wonder what a horror story would be like through the eyes of a witty fast talking "Gilmore Girl". It's exactly what I felt like I was getting with "The Twisted One's" it's actually really amusing this way. At first I was kind of annoyed by the tangents and almost unrealistic thought processes of the main character. Not too far into the book though this decision by the author was made clear as to why we experience so much of her inner monologue. I liked the book, it's a good time and I'd recommend. It's not gory either so despite your level of horror you love I still think everyone can get a solid scary story out of "The Twisted Ones".

It is unabashedly exactly what it claims to be!

Viv's wants to open up a coffee shop in a fantasy world. With this comes the problems of starting a coffee shop along with fantasy world problems interjecting. It's a wholesome, adorable story about friendship, hard work and giving yourself a chance to grow. I loved that this story delivered on it's goal throughout and being nothing more trying to complicate itself.

The world in the Bel Dame Apocrypha is ROUGH. the people are put through the proverbial grinder and this far off future world is hanging by a thread. No fairy tales here, just a dark sci-fi/bug punk tale.

Predictable

The first half is unique and curious and I’m totally invested. But it then starts to fall apart in interest as it then becomes very predictable all the way up to the end.
