I can’t breathe!!

Amazing storytelling. I was biting my nails the whole time….then…icey wall slammed shut leaving me angry, heartbroken, and unsatisfied. This story has me hooked. A toxic relationship just like Violet and Xaden. I really hope the next book makes it all worth it.

Witty, Funny, Dark and Sexy

Great performance by the narrators! They worked so well together. Good storytelling by the author as well. I would have liked more action with her family, maybe a little bit more of the self-defense fighting action they both talk about, and maybe a little bigger confrontation with her uncle. That part seemed too easy. Almost like the author was trying to hurry up and finish the story. Otherwise this kept me so interested, I finished it in less than a day!

Infuriating and Inspiring

Infuriating to know that this happened and can still happen to this day if we don’t pay better attention as a society. Inspiring because of the strength it took to survive and come out of such a horrific experience. Very well written and an excellent narrator.

I tried…I just can’t

I think the story could be very good if written better. The plot, if you can determine what it is, is completely overshadowed by the vulgar dialog that just isn’t necessary. I don’t mind dirty talk and some well placed sex scenes. But I’m 18 chapters in and all there has been is some hints of an unknown bad guy, vulgar threats of rape and a virgin who, surprise, gets hot and bothered when the sexy asshole of a man gets touches her. I’m choosing to cut my losses now and move on to a different series.

Listening once wasn’t enough

I just found this series a few months ago. It is so good, as soon as I finished it, I started listening to the whole series for a second time. This last book ended the series perfectly. I laughed, I cried, I cheered. I’m going to be listening to these books over and over. The narrator was perfect too. Each character was distinct with their own personalities and accents. I fell in love with each one of them.

Misleading Title

I expected more on how to draw upon the Law of Attraction in our craft. Instead it was basically a summary of the Law of Attraction with some basic mentions of magic.

Inspiring

Very well written. I really liked the narrator too. Very easy to listen to and held my interest. I related so much to Stephanie’s experiences. She did a wonderful job at putting into words and making sense of feelings and experiences that I’ve had.
