Historia
American journalist and author William L. Shirer was a war correspondent for six years in Nazi Germany, having a front-row seat to Hitler’s rise in influence and power. His most definitive work on the subject, The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, is a riveting account of life in the tyrannical state, a country transformed by war and dictatorship. The author was originally commissioned to write The Rise and Fall of Adolf Hitler for a young adult audience. This account loses none of the immediacy of The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich....

Shirer and Gardner--perfect together!
Revisado: 07-08-20
Grover Gardner is the BEST narrator on Audible. I have listened to him again and again on books written by William Shirer and others. This latest book was on Hitler was phenomenal.

Historia
If you want to change the world, start off by making your bed. On May 17, 2014, Admiral William H. McRaven addressed the graduating class of the University of Texas at Austin on their Commencement day. Taking inspiration from the university's slogan, "What starts here changes the world," he shared the ten principles he learned during Navy Seal training that helped him overcome challenges not only in his training and long Naval career, but also throughout his life; and he explained how anyone can use these basic lessons to change themselves - and the world - for the better.

Excellent read by the author. This book was extremely enjoyable and not overly filled with words to take up space.

Historia
Blockchain technology is already being called the most important new technology since the creation of the Internet, despite the fact that only a small fraction of the population uses it on a regular basis. As such, you are now in a unique position to be at the forefront of the biggest technological expansion of the decade. Some of the specifics can be a bit opaque, however, which is why the following chapters will take it slow and start out by discussing the basics of blockchain and describing how it works in simple terms so that everything is on the same page when it comes to the details.

Narration ruins everything
Revisado: 06-27-18
The content of this book is average, every for the tyro, like me. What makes or breaks an audiobook is the narrator. Not sure if Weston Gritt is related to the author, but I CANNOT recommend the audio version of this book. It is as if he saw the book for the first time during the recording session. A toddler could have done it better.
