I enjoyed the first part of the book, however I came to a point where I just wanted it to be over. Forcing myself to finish was a bit of a chore, but finally reached the end. This could have been much shorter than 9 hours.

Thought I had a really good book. Loved the reader. Liked the book, until the very end. I felt like it petered out. I needed a big ending for such a good story.

How could a fiction book create all these emotions?!!

I didn't know what to expect - I was in for a surprise! I've listed to so many books that it takes a lot for me to write a review. Like a roller coaster ride, the story has a few areas that are coasting along and suddenly there are twist and turns and you do discover you are on a ride! There were moments of 'uh-oh", and I even cried! .... how could fiction do that to a person? I enjoyed it.

What made the experience of listening to You the most enjoyable?

The reader's voice is perfect. This book reminds me of the movie Taxi Driver where the main character is talking to himself constantly. At times I would turn off the book, but would pick it right back up to see what would happen.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I think Beck was because she was willing to care for others that were just as needy as she was.

Which character – as performed by Santino Fontana – was your favorite?

He was excellent in all the characters.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I think the word is jaw-dropping. No crying or laughing, just dumbfounded.

I don't know how I feel about this book. But I am curious to listen to the next one!

I don't want to ruin it for anyone. I enjoyed this book - lots of detailed conversations that touch on several issues. Even a twist at the end- but after 15 hours it all neatly finishes and I didn't have the satisfaction I needed with mean characters. Ant there is so much potential to do that!

Would you listen to I'll Give You the Sun again? Why?

No. I don't usually listen to books twice - too many others to listen to.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

I felt like the author tied everything up, but it could have been longer. This book is funny and I enjoyed it, but I was surprised at how quickly the end went.

What does Julia Whelan and Jesse Bernstein bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I liked both readers and how they are told in different time perspectives.

I laughed at the images the boy would conjure up in his mind.

Would you listen to The Night Circus again? Why?

No - because once was enough . This book was so good until the end. I felt like it just ended and I missed something. I rewound the last 6 chapters to see if I missed one. It was incredible until the end.

What does Jim Dale bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The reader is excellent. I would listen to more of him with joy.

I liked all of the characters - each one was unique and interesting.

I wish the author would go back and redo the end. This would be a great movie!

Would you consider the audio edition of Acts to be better than the print version?

Dr. Creasy does an excellent job going through the books of the bible - he brings
Knowledge and understanding and has a great sense of humor. I hope to listen to all of the books!

The inflections of the voice help explain what is going on.
