This series is one of my favorites. It’s a dark one. And definitely…mature. Just how I like them. It’s so addicting. It can be frustrating because the ML is a complete a** wipe sometimes, but there is a purpose for everything. Listen to it! Or read it

This book has so much detail and color. I love the way it was written. The romance is just up my ally. The steamy parts are written excellently. Sometimes those parts can be cringy in other novels but the way the author worded the scenes was… well find out for yourself :). The narrator was wonderful as well. Listen to it!

Who’da thunk?!

So unexpectedly great. Truly a wonderful book. I personally love fantasy/sci-fi romances (preferably steamy). This one hit the mark.
My one disappointment was the Female Lead’s immature and selfish way of thinking sometimes, I had to skip through some of her inner monologues because yelling “ugh how blind are you?! Naive wench!!” In the office is frowned upon. However, the writer did a great job either way. Thank you for this :)
P.S female narrator - was okay
Male narrators voice made me want to purr <3

Remember, you are too busy (or lazy to read the hard copy). Reading the physical book in your own tone is always better but Im happy with the narrators on this. The talent it takes to follow through on a story line like this is amazing. It’s a great listen. Though I’m wayyy out of high school this book hits almost everything (if not everything) I want. It’s got steamy scenes. A strong FL (keep in mind she’s young and girls are all a little ridiculous when young). Mystery on who killed her brother. Fae fantasy and then some. To each their own, but if you like all the above, give it go! Did I mention the steamy scenes? Cause yum

Diamond in the rough

Listen to this book. Read this book. The story is fantastic. The writing is superb. The descriptive writing take you into the strory. The lead female character is bad a**. Most fiction stories you read the female lead is physically advanced and can do unimaginable things. Well, unimaginable to me, anyway. This female lead, however, has an amazing brain, is witty with a smart mouth and good soul. No “magical”abilities other than being able to change the color of her hair and eyes and skin. This book brings humor, anticipation, panty melting, and sci-fi. I’m so glad I found this gem. The story does drag on at the end. But no complaints from me. The writer had more to tell about her characters and the worlds they live in. Well done and thank you.

Bad a**

The story, the lead female, the lead male, BAD a**. The narrator... well, let’s just say the way she ended almost EVERY Single Sentence, drove me insane. It was her pattern of story telling, the time she used. It needs work. But all in all she did her job and the story carry’s what she lacks.
Glad I took the time on this one.

Bad ass

It’s kinky, it’s hot. That’s being said: Hutchins brings you into a world that is full of imagination, beauty, fire, lust. If you read/listen to this book (and I hope you do) bring a change of panties and expect to laugh out loud. Also, look up the song referenced through the book. They kick ass.

Honest look on series

I’m a serious reader (or listener these days). These novels are not for anyone who has sensitive ears or doesn’t have a crass sense of humor. I loved it. Yes, the narrator kind of sounds like a horror movie commercial voice. However, once you get into the the story line, in my opinion, it adds a certain je ne sais quoi. There were moments throughout the series when I was disappointed (maybe even cringed once). But I’m also, sometimes, over critical. And there were more moments of me laughing out loud or clenching my fists in excitement. That being said, good job Kristoff. Will be listening to them again in the future.
