I did not realize that this book was a leap forward in time from the Streetrats series until I was into the book a few chapters, but once I did I was thrilled. It was a great story even before that, but tying them all together brought a whole new perspective and really invested me in the characters.

Real and Emotionaly Elemental

I am a 48-year-old part time law student with a regular job. I preordered this audiobook a few months ago. I was going to wait until after fall finals were over, but I decided I needed a break from studying and I thought I would be able to listen for an hour or two and then get back to work. How wrong I was! I listened late into the night and finished the book the next morning. I have read both of the other Cameron Winters books as they came out, but this one was so deep, intellectual, and riveting that I felt I was learning more about human behavior, good and evil, and the way we relate to each other than in any of my classes or relational training I've had throughout my life. Andrew Klavan's work is so real, and so emotionally elemental, that it strikes at the heart of every reader. It deals with some very real and hard corruption in our society, and in our secret lives. The truth that this novel projects for all to see, is the truth that our society today must hear and respond to if it is to be saved!

Loved listening to Anjelah’s journey thus far!! I listened to the first 10 chapters in one day!!! It felt like I was sitting down with her and grabbing coffee. She is open and vulnerable. You will laugh and cry and laugh again!!

What it means to protect freedom for everyone.

Loren really breaks down what it means to protect freedom for everyone, especially those you disagree with. His philosophy about why we need to protect the rights of those whom we disagree with is clearly and concisely laid out in this short book and it is clear that our society needs more statesman (and stateswomen) like him.

Weak story and character development

The story is written like it is a video game similar to the old Super Mario Brothers. Although entertaining, the story and character development is rather weak.

A disappointing version of the King Arthur legend

This book is filled with unnecessary trivialities, counterintuitive storylines, and completely unbelievable scenarios even for a fantasy book. This is a book I would never let my children read.

Excellent content crummy recording!

This content has life changing potential, but the recording is terrible. Multiple cuts and skips that cut out parts of words. It would be worth re-recording it!
