Oh my God! If you have extra cash and time that you’ll never get back, then have at it. EVERY character in this series is a “F” ing idiot! By book two, I was wanting them all dead. Every situation they got into turned out worse because they are morons. Buy the Black Autumn series instead.

Ray Porter is awesome

Even though Ray Porter read this outstandingly, that wasn’t enough to make the exciting. I listened to the first four books back to back, the stories with all the characters made sense. With months in between books, it was like watching Game of Thrones starting in the middle of season three and expecting to be able to follow along. I won’t be listening to book 6.

If you like watching paint dry, you’ll love this audible equivalent. Brad Thor use to be my favorite thriller writer, but since the Jack Carr’s Terminal list series (which I’ve listened to 7 times) read by Ray Porter, I consider this to be the Jackie Collins of thriller writing.

Ok, I’ve listened to all 7 books in the series multiple times, with the exception of Red Sky Morning, which I finished 3 days after release. I decided to revisit the entire series again before I listen to the latest book again. This book might be his best, at least until I finish the next one.
Ray Porter is also exceptional in this audiobook. He brings the words and story to life. I recently did a Ray Porter tour listening to many of his narrations, but I think he does his very best work for Jack Carr. What a team!

Could have been better, all the scenes are extremely repetitive. Less than half way through the second book, I was regretting committing to the series. If it wasn’t for Ray Porter narrating, it would have been in the recycle bin.

This title kept popping up every time I was in search of a new book, but I didn’t think I would be interested in anything having to do with WW1 or 2, but I couldn’t have been more wrong! These female characters were so strong and fearless I was hooked instantly! Outstanding narration!
