Historia
Patricia Campbell's life has never felt smaller. Her ambitious husband is too busy to give her a goodbye kiss in the morning, her kids have their own lives, her senile mother-in-law needs constant care, and she's always a step behind on thank-you notes and her endless list of chores. The one thing she has to look forward to is her book club, a close-knit group of Charleston women united by their love of true crime and paperback fiction. At these meetings they're as likely to talk about the Manson family as they are marriage, motherhood, and neighborhood gossip.

Good narration, but the storyline was meh. I was pretty annoyed with the women in this book, too cowardly and the men were annoying. The main character had no backbone.

it was unbearable and predictable. It seemed like every other sentence was about being a victim and “never be alone at mother dels”. It had great potential but sadly fell short.

Historia
Your intellectual freedom is at stake, threatened by everything from academia and Big Tech to the media and government. Fortunately, you have a way to take back personal control, and it’s a solution founded upon ancient philosophy. In Restoring Reason, philosopher Dr. Travis Corcoran demonstrates how the liberal arts provide us with a skillset to evaluate knowledge and draw our own conclusions for clarity, confidence, and freedom.

It was a book that causes you to think about your own actions , your own liberty, your own mind. It sheds light on the many institutions that grab us by the emotions it conveys. I would recommend this book to pretty much any one that is looking to expand the quality of thinking. Great book !
