The audio quality is AWFULL! It sounds tinny and Scott Bricks familiar voice sounds distorted. This should be an easy fix for Audible. I don’t understand why this title has such bad audio quality? Perhaps because it was recorded via Zoom during Covid.

Voice acting incomplete. Either change all the voices or go back to Simon Vance only. It’s too jarring to have voice actors change mid scene

Terrible Narration

After listening to Scott Brick narrate books 1-4 of the Foundation series I was shocked when I started this book. It sounds like it was narrated by AI. Honestly, in this day age, the AI style narration you hear reading TikTok Reddit stories with Subway Surfer/Minecraft videos would have been a better narrator than this guy. Great Asimov story, not his best, but a great job continuing the Foundation stories after 35 years and merging his robot universe with the Empire and Foundation universe.

Not Altered or Changed!!!!!!

There are reviews on here that say this edition was altered by Apple TV. I followed along the audio with my original 1982 Edition. It’s the same. The only thing changed was the cover art. Still the same 1952 classic Asimov Book. I first read it in 1987 as a teenager and it’s as fascinating as ever. Epic in scope and vision. A true classic of the genre.

Andy is a terrific performer but I like my audio books to be read in a somewhat formal manner. The yelling and growling and awful singing kinda put me off. Other than that I enjoyed it as a different kind of LOTR audio book.
