Don't listen to audio books by Marc Thompson, you will forever be ruined for other audio book readers. You get an audio book and you're not always sure how the reader will sound. Marc Thompson isn't just someone who reads an audio book, he voice acts the audio book. I have a few books on my list to read simply because I want to hear how Marc Thompson makes the books come alive. Admittedly, I haven't listened to tons of audio books, but the handful I have listened to were just people sitting in a room, reading a book.
I also like the content of the book, Timothy Zahn is a great writer, and I may wander outside of my Star Wars audio books to check out some of his other work as well.
