This is a powerful narration of a classic story. lt can be said to be prophetic considering the times we live in. l highly recommend that this audio book is purchased and listened to several times so that it can speak to you like it spoke to me.

This edition of the Scriptures is phenomenal! The only issue l had is that an old recording of the Bible reader Max McLean was used which included music and chapter headings which were not appropriate. Other than that, l love the Books of the Bible and would highly recommend it to anyone.

This book was an excellent presentation of the Scriptures. The readers were excellent, the summaries at the beginning of each book very helpful and l loved the fact that the scriptures were read without the chapters and verses. This really helped me to flow with the book that was being read and to see the scriptures in their context. l am looking forward to listening to the next book in this collection.

Overall, an excellent audio bible. Max McLean is not my favorite narrator because of his voice but l love to let this Bible play at night. The music is understated as it should be and does not overpower the reading of the Scriptures.

Excellent but for one thing....

I gave this performance a four instead of a five because of the fact that there were too many musical breaks in the New Testament which were in the middle of a letter and disrupted the flow of the reading. Other than that, this rendition of the scriptures was very good.
