A Must Have For Every Solo Pastor

As a Pastor of a small church, listening to this book made me feel as if I was sitting down with a spiritual mentor full of wisdom, understanding and guidance. This book not only brings to light ways to address many of the barriers and joys encountered by Pastors of small churches or Pastors with small leadership teams. It also lists and reflects on the realities of pastoring while giving direction to keep moving forward.It is definitely a book I will cherish and reread from time to time because of its suggestions, biblical references and true understanding of what it means to be called by God to serve as a solo Pastor.

I happen to stumble across this book on my travels and as a new Pastor I was completely humbled and blessed to have had the opportunity to appreciate this book and am definitely adding it to my library. Kay Warren takes you on a journey where you will learn, cry and relate to the many phases and encounters of a Pastor’s Wife’s life. You learn through her journey with her personal family, as well as her Saddleback Church’s experiences. It’s a must read for all Ministry Wives.
