Historia
This week, in Kihei, Hawaii, the signature moves of a serial killer are found, when a woman is horribly attacked, with many creepy details that show an obviously disturbed mind. It gets even more disturbing, when these exact same strange details are found to have existed in a murder, 7 years earlier, including matching cans of hair mousse. These details tie both of these awful acts to one man, who was raised seemingly to do this exact kind of thing. You can't help but wonder if there's more bodies, or other terrible acts that just never came to light!! Along the way, we find out that Hawaii ...

Like his fellow Reds, he works all day, believing that he and his people are making the surface of Mars livable for future generations. Yet he spends his life willingly, knowing that his blood and sweat will one day result in a better world for his children. But Darrow and his kind have been betrayed. Soon he discovers that humanity reached the surface generations ago. Vast cities and sprawling parks spread across the planet.

On the heals of a very good book, Red Rising was another terrific journey. Well done!

Historia
At first, Logan Ramsay isn’t sure if anything’s different. He just feels a little . . . sharper. Better able to concentrate. Better at multitasking. Reading a bit faster, memorizing better, needing less sleep. But before long, he can’t deny it: Something’s happening to his brain. To his body. He’s starting to see the world, and those around him—even those he loves most—in whole new ways. The truth is, Logan’s genome has been hacked. And there’s a reason he’s been targeted for this upgrade.

Historia
In the middle of the night, in a house on a quiet street in suburban Minneapolis, intruders silently murder Luke Ellis' parents and load him into a black SUV. The operation takes less than two minutes. Luke will wake up at The Institute, in a room that looks just like his own, except there's no window. And outside his door are other doors, behind which are other kids with special talents - telekinesis and telepathy - who got to this place the same way Luke did: Kalisha, Nick, George, Iris, and 10-year-old Avery Dixon.

For Entertainment
Revisado: 02-07-22
I’ve been reading King since I was a teenager (thanks to my Mum) and have a lawyer’s cabinet filled with his hardbacks. In fact, I was even a member of the Stephen King Library through many of his novels, and have read many again, while not patiently waiting for the next.
I always knew I could count on a King novel to thoroughly entertain me and was shocked to find he had joined the unfortunate ranks of the award shows, NFL games, etc. Most of us just want to be entertained, not privy to a singer, actor, football player, or author’s personal thoughts. In my humble opinion, there’s a time and place for that as well, just not under the guise of entertainment. That said, the narrator was very, very good as was the story!
