Chariss Walker constructs her stories in a most unusual way. She tells a story and then comes back into it over and over providing more detail and back stories. Sometimes, you are wanting her to get on with it, but the wait is worth it as she fills in more details into the lives of her characters.

Well orated, this story adds an interesting twist to many time traveler stories. The brother can parle francais and the sister ne parle pas francais. Yes, they have been moved to near the wars of 1140 between the royalty of France and England. Time to develop language skills!

Too Bad the Author has a Separate Agenda

The basis of this science fiction novel put a new twist on the development of artificial intelligence and the author is very adamant that this is not artificial intelligence created by programming, but intelligence developed from learned experience the same as humans develop. I probably gave Overall and Story one too many stars because I was disappointed that the author continues over and over to expound his personal soapbox of political, social and environmental beliefs. I labored through this recording because I promised I would. . . . . .probably not again.
