It was as just a really great story with characters that one was happy to spend time with. A reflection of Graham Nortons big heart. Perfect for these times. And he is such a wonderful reader.

My favorite aspect of the author is her deep empathy for all humans. It has been a theme in the two books I have listened to. The first fifteen lives of Harry August is spectacular. Hard to match. If I had read this one first I would have been more blown away. They have a lot of common themes. This is not quite as impacting, but nevertheless a great book. A thriller that never forgets its humanity. The main character cares for those 'It' touches and in that care we are led to feel for It and them. In order to enjoy a book, I need to like and care for the character I will invest my time on. This ticked that box. The narrator of both books is superb. As an ex actor, I am in awe of him and the level of his skill.

Moran is shallow and boring. she doesn't have a good word for anyone! The book reflects her, banal and boring. I couldn't keep listening.

Having lost my son to addiction, it was not easy for me to listen to this book. I am so
Glad I did, and so glad it's over. What a dreadful disease, and what immense courage and staying power Mathew Perry had. To keep trying, again and again to recover is a testament to a remarkable person. The fact that he continued to be so well loved despite what he put his loved ones through is a testament to his big heart. So many addicts are amazing people. I will honor your memory, Mathew, by thinking of what you did for others, and
with a little bit of nostalgia for, Friends.

Light hearted and way more fun than Agatha! Pure fantasy and much needed escapism. Such a delightful character to spend time with!

Extraordinary ability to inhabit the minds of all the players. Really does justice to the complexity of the subject. Great reader!

I loved this book. Lucy Arnaz was the best reader I have ever listened to in an audio book. I could listen to her all day. The story is close to my heart growing up in the fifties with parents who looked a lot like Lucy and Dezi and had an equally volatile relationship. I loved the shows and I loved this story. Lucille Ball comes across as real, thoughtful, and genuine as I always hoped she would be. It's a great story of the movie world, a strong pioneering woman, love won and lost, and life in the fifties for those who had success.

If you could sum up Teach and Grow Rich: The Emerging Opportunity for Global Impact, Freedom, and Wealth in three words, what would they be?

Practica, impacting, realistic

Who was your favorite character and why?

Not applicable

Have you listened to any of David H. Lawrence XVII’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

As a serial entrepreneur who has struggled to invent the wheel rather than ask for help, I found so many gems in Danny’s book. First of all the simple matter of fact way he writes. I do wish he had recorded the reading instead of an actor. D.H. Lawrence did a great job, but by it’s nature that kind of narration is bland. The actor can’t pretend to be the author so can’t own the message. Having said that, and once I struggled not to zone out at the beginning, there is much to gain from the book. There are no irritating over dramatic phrases to ‘inspire’ one to new heights. The plain facts of a do-able system are laid out. In the same vain there are no promises to make you a billionaire. How refreshing! Been round the block too many times to fall for that one again. Danny offers a very realistic, (not without a lot of hard work) but sustainable system that will get you there. And where is ‘there’? A very respectable increase in revenue that for some will seem like a dream come true and for the billionaires in the making will seem like small potatoes. Which one are you?

Any additional comments?

My favorite metaphor that Danny uses is to demonstrate the importance of, course correction. This is something I historically suck at! I have always had big time resistance to changing course. I want my idea to work; I want to get it done as quickly as possible and get on to making money. Sound familiar? Danny explains how vital to success the ability to course correct is, using a metaphor of a plane journey. I won’t describe it here, you will have to buy the book to get it ☺ but let me say it changed the game for me. Not just in my business but in my relationship to my daily habits. For fifteen years I have habitually taken the exact same route to work every morning in rush hour traffic. The morning after I read Danny’s book I decided to put his words into action. I literally changed course in an intelligent way three times, it was counter intuitive, sometimes I was going away from my destination, but I avoided traffic hot spots and I took ten minutes off a forty five minute journey.

Enough already, just listen to the book, it will change you and it will change your way of doing business.
