Historia
From the author of the award-winning Altered Carbon, which is now an exciting new series from Netflix. On a Mars where ruthless corporate interests violently collide with a homegrown independence movement as Earth-based overlords battle for profits and power, Hakan Veil is an ex-professional enforcer equipped with military-grade body tech that's made him a human killing machine. But he's had enough, and all he wants is a ticket back home - which is just what he's offered by the Earth Oversight organization, in exchange for being the bodyguard for an EO investigator.

I enjoyed it. A gritty - blade runner type - sci-fi drama. The story is well told and you enjoy going along with the journey.

I see what people are saying, but I enjoyed it. It's another Dennis E. Taylor adventure. It kept me listening because I like listening to his stories, all the thinking, working things out. I would recommend.

It reads just like the TV series. I have enjoyed both immensely. The narration is top notched and really makes the story perfect. I recommend!

Martin and his friends discovered that their world is computer generated and that by altering the code they could alter reality. They traveled back in time to Medieval England to live as wizards. Almost everything they've done since then has, in one way or another, blown up in their faces. So of course they decide to make dragons. It does not go well.

Well.....
Revisado: 07-23-22
It's hard to trust the Audible reviews anymore - everyone seems so negative. I really liked the first 3 books and decided to go for it and get number 4. Well.... it looks like everyone was right. Half way through and I was like - what the heck is going on and why - and stopped. I don't recommended.

You get this because of Lithgow and he and the others deliver - but the story - the twist was obvious about midway just by the voices.... the actual twist and ending.... its Free - I shouldn't complain.

Historia
Stormy Weather centers on the aftermath of Hurricane Andrew. The devastation of the storm has attracted crowds of voyeurs and impostors to Florida. Drawn by the chance to prey on Andrew's victims, misfits like the murderous ex-con Snapper and the dangerously seductive Edie find easy targets for their insurance scams. They're not prepared, though, when they meet their opposition, led by a hoary ex-governor who smokes toads.
Both hilariously funny and deadly accurate, Carl Hiaasen's novel will take you into a Florida that is far from the frilly palms and pink flamingos of its post cards.
