I sensed the longing of the characters and began to long for the same things.

Weird American accent but a fun story!
Revisado: 03-01-24
The narrator was really great except the American, southern accent was really awful. Southerners don’t sound like Forrest Gump. Especially not educated and supposedly articulate FBI agents. It was pretty distracting. Admittedly, not a huge part of the storyline, but enough that I’ll remember it.

Historia
Going to Hell has never been on my bucket list...until now. The fact that I can speak that sentence without laughing or losing my mind is absurd. However, my life has veered into a very tricky tale that rivals any of my books. The villain has been banished. I’ve written her right into an infernal doom. Unfortunately, a few of my very dear friends, fictional and real, have been caught up in the horror story, and they’ve taken the trip down under as well. It’s my fault, and I can only see one way out...a plot twist of epic proportions.

This is the 3rd book of a fun series. Lots of great one-liners to use later!

I LOVED this!
Revisado: 10-06-20
Don’t miss out on this experience. I wasn’t expecting much, but I’m so glad I listened. The story and characters were so real and easy to
connect with (weird since I’m like, an 8th generation American. Which is to say, I don’t know what it’s like to be an immigrant in this country.)
Hope there is another installment with a continuation of the story.

Love the story. Narrator makes strange choices
Revisado: 08-19-20
I really love the characters in the little town of Winsome (especially Janet). Having just finished the previous book in this (series?), I had that narrator in my ears.
This one has a British accent (which I adore, but in Chicago?). The older characters in the book sounded like they were closer to 100 instead of 70-80 years old. Weird. Distracting.
BUT...I do love this story and it moved me.
