Margaret Killjoy is the best!
Revisado: 08-15-22
I love their podcasts. Very entertaining and enlightening. It’s often intimidating for a lot of people (including myself) to start learning about mutual aid and praxis in general due in part to I guess intellectualism in these some of these spaces (at least in my college town experience as a townie). Margaret along with her co-hosts make it feel accessible. I know Amazon is evil, but I do wish audible had her books. In particular I wish there was an audiobook version of into the grey somewhere as I have trouble reading and it seems like a really cool book. Sorry for the ramble. 10/5 stars

In Thanopolis, those gifted with magic are assigned undead spirits to guard them -and control them. Ever since Rovan’s father died trying to keep her from this fate, she’s hidden her magic. But when she accidentally reveals her powers, she’s bound to a spirit and thrust into a world of palace intrigue and deception. Desperate to escape, Rovan finds herself falling for two people she can’t fully trust: Lydea, a beguiling, rebellious princess; and Ivrilos, the handsome spirit with the ability to control Rovan, body and soul.

Best narration of any audiobook I’ve listened to!
Revisado: 02-22-22
The narrator is so perfect, I wish every book I listened to was done by her. Nothing falls flat, or ever feels put on.

It’s fine, would have liked to have seen it a bit more fleshed out.
Revisado: 04-17-20
I liked it. The narrator's voice is great for all other characters, but the voice she uses for howl sounds a bit goofy. I don’t really see the feelings building up in the book so it wasn’t very gratifying in the end. I enjoyed myself but wished it was fleshed out a bit fuller. I know she does other books in the same world, so I may give them a try, but probably not.
